pbl activity -- checking and action

Fatimah:I only can see the blue dye on the petals.
Jiawei: The colours did not really show up on the petals.
We think it was because the stems are broken so the dye can't get up.
If we are given another chance,we would make sure that the stems are not bent or broken.

    Hi Fatimah & Jiawei,

    Well, your observations are absolutely correct! The broken and bent stems affect the plant system's ability to transport water up the stem. What is the tube that transports water up called and what is its function? Tell me in your next post!
