lesson on data logger.
We were provided a small bottle, one of our sunflower leaf, data logger, lamp and the C02 sensor. We started by pasting bluetack on the underside of the leaf then we inserted it in the bottle.Thalia blew carbon dioxide into the bottle and we quickly covered the bottle neck with the Co2 sensor. After a while,we could see a graph on the datalogger screen.First, the graph increased then it decreased. The graph increased because when Thalia blew carbon dioxide, the carbon dioxide increased. Then the graph decreased because the leaf took in the carbon dioxide for photosynthesis. We could see water vapour in the bottle. We enjoyed ourselves. We wish we could use the data logger again.=)

Happy to hear that you have enjoyed the lesson. Do not worry! There will definitely be chances for you to use the datalogger again.
ReplyDeleteYou are right! The leaf needs carbon dioxide in order to carry out photosynthesis. :)
